I had the pleasure last week of photographing the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Haywards Gallery, which are currently being restored. There was so much interior scaffolding, making the space quite unrecognisable. It was very discombobulating to go around a space so familiar and seeing lots of elements of the building that you knew - but at the same time be completely thrown by it. All a bit dream-like. Particularly impactful was the large space of the QEH just filled with scaffolding.
